Business Analytics refers to the development of technologies, systems, and applications to analyze critical business data so as to gain new insights about business and markets, and it has emerged as one of the most attractive areas in Information Systems Research for both practitioners and researchers. In this talk, a big data driven methodology is proposed to give a whole picture to identify the evolution process from information systems to business analytics, as massive amounts of data are generated in business applications through various information systems. The state-of-the-art big data analytics techniques and models are well reviewed and the implementation of big data analytics in typical business scenarios, such as e-finance and e-commerce, are also summarized. The expectations of big data can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business analytics and big data analytics will propel the ability of mass entrepreneurship and innovation.
主讲人简介：
许伟，男，博士，中国人民大学智慧城市研究中心副主任，中国人民大学信息学院信息系统与大数据应用实验室主任、副教授，博士生导师。《系统工程学报》编委，中国系统工程学会信息系统工程专业委员会秘书长。主要研究领域为金融管理、电子商务、智慧城市、信息系统。主持国家自然科学基金、教育部人文社会科学研究规划基金、北京市自然科学基金、北京市社会科学基金及金融企业合作项目多项，Journal of Systems Science and Information、《系统工程理论与实践》、《管理评论》等国内外期刊的客座主编，HICSS、ICEBE、PACIS等国际会议主席、联合主席和领域主席，在Decision Support Systems、European Journal of Operational Research、Electronic Commerce Research、Fuzzy Sets and Systems、IEEE Trans. Systems, Man and Cybernetics、HICSS、ICIS等国内外期刊和国际会议上发表研究论文70余篇，出版专著5部，获得北京市科技新星、北京市优秀人才、北京市哲学社会科学优秀成果奖等多个奖项。
